The Office of University Programs is joined by Weinstein Hall and a wonderful group of Program Assistants (PAs) who help make NYU Precollege an amazing experience! Residential and commuter students will interact with the PAs and Weinstein staff each day of the program. This is just an introduction to some of the wonderful people you will meet this summer!

Josh Hartman- Josh is the Residence Hall Director of Weinstein Hall. Josh is a native New Yorker (from Long Island) who returned to the great city after receiving his Bachelors in Philosophy and Anthropology, Masters in Higher Education Administration, and Post-Masters degree as an Education Specialist from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Weinstein's staff, Josh worked at George Washington and Darmouth College. Josh's fun fact is "I know how to fly a plane."

Bri Mathew- Bri is the Residence Hall Assistant Director of Weinstein Hall. Bri is originally from Chicago and joined NYU after receiving her Bachelors in Applied Psychology from the University of Illinois (Chicago) and her Masters in Higher Education Administration, with a Student Affairs focus, from Loyola University-Chicago. Bri's fun fact is "I sing professionally!" 

Lindsay Strasser- Lindsay is a Psychology major and Literature and Educational Theatre minor from Rockland County, New York. Lindsay’s fun fact is: "My favorite thing to do in New York City is student rush Broadway shows."   

Nathaniel Leach- Nathaniel (aka Natty) is a proud graduate of Steinhardt's Media, Culture, and Communication program. (Congrats, Natty!) Natty comes to NYU from Philadelphia, and his fun fact is: “I’ve been to every continent except Antarctica."

Lili Johnson- Lili comes to NYU from Amherst, MA and is a proud graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences with a degree in Social and Cultural Analysis. Lili's fun fact is: "I know how to make stain glass windows." 

Kate Macina- Kate is majoring in Sociology in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and minoring in Italian and Media, Culture and Communication. Originally from Northport, Long Island, Kate's fun fact is: "I lived in Abu Dhabi last year as an RA at NYU's portal campus."

Shelby Sampsel- Shelby is from Toledo, Ohio! She is a student in Gallatin majoring in “The Psychology of the Narrative in Our Society.” She is minoring in French. Fun fact:  I have written over 30 pages about Stephanie Meyer's Twilight in academic papers during my time at NYU." 

Charlotte Evans- Charlotte is from Bedford, New Hampshire and is currently majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Chinese in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). Charlotte’s fun fact is: "I have lived, worked, and studied in Spain, Italy, and China!”

Sinead Persaud- Sinead just graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts from the Film and Television program. (Yay!) Sinead joins us from Massachusetts and her fun fact is: “I am a black belt in Karate."  

John Grady- John is majoring in Public Health in Steinhardt! Coming to us from Cleveland, Ohio, John's fun fact is: "I was in a hip-hop video back home."

Jeremy Hissong- Jeremy is a rising Junior at NYU Steinhardt majoring in Music Technology and planning to minor in Web Programming/Applications at the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).  Jeremy is also representing Long Island! Fun fact: "I play five different musical instruments!"

Asma Imam- Asma is from Voorhees, New Jersey and is majoring in Politics and minoring in Economics. Fun fact: "I love baking, especially cupcakes! I've collected and tried about 100 different cupcakes recipes." (YUM!)
 
Cody Galluccio- Cody was born in New York but raised in the fun and sun of Florida. He is currently working on his degree in Marketing at the Stern School of Business. He is thinking about adding Statistics to his major as well. For a fun fact, Cody says, "I was the captain of the drumline and percussion section of my high school band." 


Scherry Elleshk- Scherry was born in the United States, but is of Egyptian and Peruvian decent. She is a current junior in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), studying politics and on the pre-med track. Scherry's fun fact is "I've been to the pyramids of Egypt 9 times!"
